Text to Video AI Generator & Model Comparison
Describe a scene and compare how Veo 3, Kling AI, Seedance, and Wan 2.5 render it. Judge pacing, camera movement, and the credit price before each run.
How text to video works on SeedVR2
Text to video turns a written scene into a short clip. Several models share one prompt box, so the same description can be compared for pacing, camera movement, and style before you commit credits to a longer or more expensive render. There is no image to prepare and no software to install, and every model is reachable from the same page, which makes a quick draft on a fast tier a practical first step before a full-quality take.
From prompt to rendered clip
Every run is the same sequence: you write the scene, the request is screened, one model renders it, and the clip lands in the workspace for review. Because there is no source file, the prompt carries all of the direction, and small wording changes are the main way to steer the result. Keeping the same prompt across two models shows how much of the output comes from the description and how much comes from the model itself.
1. Write the scene
Describe the subject, the action, the camera, and the mood. Text to video has no source image to anchor it, so the wording carries all of the direction: name the shot, the pacing, and what should happen in the clip instead of leaving the model to guess.
2. Screening and validation
The prompt is checked against the acceptable-use policy before a provider is called. A request that breaks the rules is stopped at this stage, so it never reaches the model and never consumes credits, and the workspace shows that the run was blocked rather than failed.
3. Pick a model and see the price
The selector lists every video model with its credit price, and the price is repeated in the workspace before you generate. Veo 3, Kling AI, Seedance, and the Wan 2.5 text to video models behave differently, so the same prompt can be compared across look, motion, and cost.
4. What to upload
Nothing is required here. Text to video runs from the prompt alone, and there is no upload area on this route. If your clip should start from a still, use image to video; if it should restyle footage you already have, use video to video instead.
5. How long a run takes
Rendering time depends on the model, the resolution, and the clip length. In the current catalog a default run is typically reported between 8 and 22 seconds, with the faster Wan 2.5 tier returning first. The render keeps going if you leave the page.
6. When a different route fits better
Use text to video when no footage exists yet and you want new motion. If you already have a still to animate, image to video is the direct path, and if the clip only needs 720p to 4K cleanup the video upscaler restores it without regenerating the motion.

Renders are billed per run at each model default entry settings, from 300 to 800 credits. Resolution and duration move the real charge, and the price of the model you select is visible in the workspace before you start.

Text to video FAQ
Short answers about prompts, controls, credits, and failed renders.
How are credits charged for a video render?
A render bills the selected model once, at the price shown in the table above, when you start it. That price assumes the model default settings; a higher resolution or a longer clip raises it, and a render that never starts is never charged.
What happens if I run out of credits?
The render will not start, so no credits are spent. Add a pack or a subscription on the pricing page and return to the same prompt; your scene and settings stay in the workspace while you top up.
Why was my prompt blocked?
Prompts are screened against the acceptable-use policy before a model runs. If your scene is blocked, rewrite the wording and submit again; the request is not charged, because a blocked prompt never reaches the provider.
What if the provider times out or the render fails?
Confirmed system or provider failures are covered by the refund policy, which explains how a job is reviewed and repaid. You can also retry the prompt, or choose a faster model at a lower resolution to reduce the chance of a repeat timeout.
Do I need to upload anything?
No. Text to video starts from the prompt alone; there is no upload step on this route. Upload-based runs belong to image to video and video to video.
Can I get a longer or different version?
Yes. Run the same prompt on a different model or duration and compare the two results side by side in the workspace, then keep the one that matches the storyboard you had in mind.
