Flux 2 gave you the idea. Give it a 2K master.
Generate with Flux 2 Pro, Flex or Dev, pick the keeper, and send it through SeedVR2 for a 2K or 4K delivery — without leaving the browser.
One account, two passes
Flux 2 is the draft. SeedVR2 is the delivery. Keep the reference set, upscale only the keeper, and read the exact credit line before either job runs.
Already have a 760p or 1 MP file? Skip the generator and upload it to the image or video upscaler.

Why a second pass beats a bigger prompt
A generator decides the idea. An upscaler decides whether the file is deliverable. Keeping them separate makes both cheaper to judge.
Draft where it is cheap
Test composition, lighting and likeness in Flux 2. Only the selected frame pays the upscale cost.
Keep the references
Flux 2 Pro accepts up to 8 reference images; Flex and Dev accept 10. Reuse the same set instead of letting each edit drift.
Price before the run
The generator and upscaler show their own credit cost. A failed task does not leave you paying for an output you never got.
No GPU or ComfyUI
Both passes run in the browser. There is no local model, VRAM tuning or setup step between the draft and the 2K file.
What each pass costs
Flux 2 rows are the minimum charge; reference images and output size can raise them. Upscale rows use the live credit table.
| Stage | Credits |
|---|---|
| Flux 2 Dev (from) | 20 credits |
| Flux 2 Pro (from) | 49 credits |
| Flux 2 Flex (from) | 98 credits |
| SeedVR2 image to 2K | 10 credits |
| SeedVR2 10s 2K short clip | 275 credits |
From Flux draft to 2K delivery
Four steps, two tools, one account.
- Step 1
Generate the draft
Open Flux 2 and choose Pro, Flex or Dev. Attach the reference images that define the character or product.
- Step 2
Pick one keeper
Judge composition and likeness at draft size. Do not upscale every variant; the second pass is for the frame you will actually use.
- Step 3
Upscale to 2K
Upload the keeper to the image upscaler for 2K, 4K or 8K, or to the video upscaler if it is a clip. Check the quote before submitting.
- Step 4
Review and download
Compare the 2K result with the draft at faces, text and edges. If a task fails, its credits are refunded automatically.
Good to know
A 760p or 1 MP file is a source, not a delivery master. Upscaling adds pixels; it cannot recover detail the draft never contained.
A 2K clip billed at 10 seconds or less uses a flat 275-credit short-clip price. Longer 2K clips keep the per-second rate.
Failed tasks are refunded automatically. A successful task that produces a much shorter video can also receive a partial refund.
Flux 2 reference slots: Pro 8, Flex 10, Dev 10. More references do not guarantee a better likeness, so keep the set tight.
Flux 2 upscaler FAQ
The workflow, the price and the failure path, without marketing claims about either model.
Is this a Flux 2 upscaler or a separate upscaler?
It is a workflow, not a single model. Flux 2 generates the image; SeedVR2 upscales the selected file. They share one account and one credit balance, but each pass has its own price.
Does Flux 2 include upscaling?
No. Flux 2 returns a generated image at its own output size. If you need a 2K or 4K delivery, that is a second SeedVR2 pass with a separate credit cost.
Can I use this for clips as well?
Yes. The image upscaler handles stills; the video upscaler handles clips. A 2K clip billed at 10 seconds or less uses the flat short-clip price.
What happens if a task fails?
The task is marked failed and its credits are refunded automatically. You do not need to open a support ticket to get the charge reversed.
How many reference images can I use?
Flux 2 Pro accepts up to 8 references; Flex and Dev accept up to 10. Reference slots help consistency, but the result still needs a human check.
